CULTURED CELL CULTURE is a live multi-media presentation in the form of a science lecture, which includes original music, artwork and animation created by filmmaker and world renowned speaker Cory McAbee. Topics include cell memory in cultured cell meats, monarch butterflies, agricultural reform, proactive approaches to further human evolution, Abraham Lincoln, cruelty-free cannibalism, space aliens, and people who are better than we are. LIVE EVENT HISTORY
Cultured Cell Culture was created as part of I_Butterfly (a nationwide butterfly restoration project.) The shows were among several featured events presented during a 2000-mile bicycle tour from Maine to Florida.
Cultured Cell Culture was performed 7 times in total. Venues included: The Apohadion Theater (Portland ME), The Slipper Room (NYC), St. Bab’s Church (Cape May NJ), PhilaMOCA (Philadelphia PA), Central Rappahannock Regional Library (Fredericksburg VA), The Firehouse Theatre (Richmond VA), It’s Modern Art. (Lancaster, PA), and The Portland Ecofilm Festival/Hollywood Theater (Portland, OR).
